What are your favorite unexplained mysteries?

Hello!

What are your favorite unexplained mysteries?

What are the mysteries you really need to see explained? Why?

As far as I'm concerned, the first mystery I'd like to see solved is about life in the Universe.

I like exotism. I'm curious about new species. I couldn't accept the Earth would be the only living place in the Universe.

How a dryer can open a wormhole to a different reality that apparently feeds off left socks.

There must be a giant used socks deposit somewhere outside Earth.

Probably on pluto. Done solely for revenge against being taken off the planet list.

Women!!!

As for things that actually has a fair chance to be explained one day, I'd most like to know why matter exhibits two states, depending on if they're observed or not. What they call duality.
Most scholars and nerds are satisfied with "That's just the way it is". I'm not.

Recently..... this:

It fits in nicely with my theory about Aliens being among us, but they manipulate us into seeing them as normal.

An unexpected camera capture probably cannot be manipulated in such a way.

I would have to say it's still shadow people.

I've had some personal experiences.

I know how to get rid of them, and I have an idea what causes them to make an appearance, but still there are questions.

Yes, it can.  Easily.  And that image shows evidence it was indeed edited.  I've added a few comments on the thread.

I would like to know the truth about what happen to Amelia Earhart, who was fondly known as "Lady Lindy," There are many theories about her disappearance, including government records that show she may have been spying on the Japanese by taking photos during her flight over their occupied territories.

I don't think the search for her should ever end, she was an American hero, and she deserves to be found and finally placed at rest. While she was not a military operative, her hero status means that we should not consider leaving her behind.

Peace

The question now is whether they are going to "achieve" the same feat again. Betting suggests a coin toss probability.

Yes, that's quite a mystery.

You'll hopefully find people here who know better.

@ChrLzs

What's the capture date on the original? Maybe we can rule out Halloween.

(BTW... Google doesn't always blur out faces. My niece was on there, instantly recognizable, outside her house)

Yep, the blurring was a relatively recent addition, and it does not always work.  Frankly, the image that was posted (ie NOT the one that is actually on GE) doesn't make sense - if it sees what looks like a face (eyes/nose/mouth), the GE algorithm blurs the *entire* face, not just the bit below the eyes...!  Also (and I confess this is only my initial impression, I haven't actually tested it*), the blurring amount/algorithm seems to be a little off in the *amount* of blur.

I'm a bit time challenged right now - not sure how easy it is to do this in Google Maps, but if you load up the Google Earth application, then you can get timelines and see the dates.

* And unless I can get verification that the claimed image *was* at some time actually on Google Earth, I'm not spending more time - by default it's a fake, as the original source does NOT match the image.  Note that if GE was to be shown to having changed the image, then that would be a very interesting conspiracy... :D
