Boy, 14, missing 10 days on way to school

 my suggestion could this  boy fell into a well? remembering that story  in  the story of( Little  Prairie) , where the little youngst was found in a covered well

I pray his family find him, one way or another.  I can't even imagine the horror of losing a child in this way and never knowing for sure :(
