Now in a renewed bid to raise funds, the group is selling bags of the building's charred remains - complete with a certificate of authenticity - on eBay for approximately $65 per bag.

Ffs you can not even use it as fire wood!

Errr yeah! The people who will benefit the most are those selling the charred remains and a stone.

For a man who spoke greatly about willpower, he didn't have any. Unless you count pure hedonism as willpower, in that case his will was made of adamantium.

I did try to buy Jim Jones's remains off of Eglington. I wanted his skull cap as a ashtray sooo badly.  But I have no interest in anything connected to the Theosophist's Uncle Fester.

Crowley was an interesting character. I'd like to have more time to read him exstensively...well, maybe even to come to possession of some of his personal belongings.

I don't know that much about him, but I know he "inspired" some truly crazy people. L. Ron Hubbard is a case in point.

If idiots will buy a bag of charcoal for $65, more power to the seller. I don't blame them one bit.

Mysticism does give people a peculiar morality different from the good and evil taught to the masses.

To get straight to the point then goodness is about indulging in all pleasures. The creator has provided those pleasures for us so when we deny ourselves them then its offensive to God. Denial is sin. Indulgence is not hedonism because we arent indulging for ourselves, we are indulging in all pleasures intentionally to keep God happy.
