Still Waters Posted January 8, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2020 A crisp packet believed to be more 50-years-old has been found washed up on a British beach. The Golden Wonder wrapper was discovered by Emily Stevenson, who runs Beach Guardian, during one of her regular beach cleans. She found the plastic packet buried beneath the sand on Porthcothan Bay, near Padstow, Cornwall. Emily, 22, said it dated back to 1969 and said it highlighted the problem of plastic in our oceans. https://www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/50-year-old-crisp-packet-17518486 2
