He facilitated the attack on Libya and the consequent murder of it's leader. He took military action without approval from congress in an assault on an independent country not at war with anyone. It was justified because Ghedaffi had committed or facilitated terrorist acts.

I'm not making any judgement on who is worse. I'm asking @Hammerclaw how the two are equivalent.

Hmm.. that last sentence (from the Ottowa Chronicle) seems stilly. Why SHOULDN'T the plane have been allowed to leave the ground ? Other flights continued without problems.
