'Nother Gyro amp

Recommended Posts

trevor borocz johnson

One more amp for the gyro. I was thinking about the wheel at B and how the gyro would spin it. I came up with a string that runs through the spring in the box at A and attaches to the gyro. The gyroscope is then pulled on slightly into the spring. The string is then glued in place to the wheel at B and the end of the string is attached to an extension spring. Then I thought the amplified torque from the wheel at C could lift up on a small tab covering a hole ina can filled with water as an amplifier. Making it a pretty simple home setup.

If it wasn't for your um eccentricities you might have made a good or decent at least engineer. I mean, at least you try.

(don't ask me why I'm being nice to you. I don't even know the answer to that...sympathy maybe...)

This thing needs at least one rubber band to work.

You need redundancy at B, unless you plan to invert every half cycle!

We're not talking about point particles here, so it's an angular pseudovector. This is 3D, remember.
