I'd love it if the owners of Star Trek sued.
More people should sue Trump's decisions. Give him a taste of his own medicine. The orange menace has a history of being super litigious, after all.

I don't think they WOULD sue. I think they would be pleased by it :)

Who would they sue?  That logo is a U.S. government decision :tu:  Maybe those who've lost all sense of propriety, and even their minds in some cases, could back off just a bit and quit foaming at the mouth?  Never mind.  Too late for that.

They could have take the logo of the old SF-serie Blake's 7, instead, It's a similarly, tthe only difference is Blake's 7 logo is horizontal.

As the rest of the world laughs, how silly.  Btw China already owns the moon.  Just saying.

No craft, stations or satellites. Just a emblem is laughable.

Nothing you’re aware of.  The far side of the moon is ....far.  Btw, if they can bootleg anything, they’re likely already setup a base on Mars.

The first thing they need to send is oncologists to set up a hospital with no magnetosphere.

I can't wait to see Elon Musk's flash frozen body floating around his Tesla as he tries to run to Mars.

President Donald Trump has revealed the official logo for the US Space Force - and it looks somewhat familiar...

The imagery is actually more consistent with rather standard Arc-GIS directional orientation options. Rather routine.

This is not new. The air force has been using this logo for years. I actually was posting on this site a couple years ago in relation to my search for this which was on the clearance card someone showed me during an odd incident.

I saw that it was basically designed off the Air Force Space Command patch which is from the early 1980s.

Though the similarity to the Star Trek logo is remarkable.

A way for the States to keep it's military-industrial complex going even though it's entire infastructure is failing?

This country is becoming a 3rd World country with 1st World money and they create their own enemies.

They need to stop and cooperate for a peaceful space program. I noticed astronauts from "enemy" countries get along as well as academics from "enemy" countries do.

Ahem... Looks like the famous Star Trek Delta insignia originated from NASA to begin with...

Hmmm, maybe NASA should sue and get some royalties from the Trek franchise :P

On a side note... did they not have any Orange guys on Star Trek?

Don't forget the original inspiration for the Star Trek emblem.

Wonder how those emblems will show up against those camo space uniforms fatigues they premiered?  Rightfully, they should have red tunics and black pants.
