well exactly. I trust you were pointing out how absurd the idea of "containment" is, rather than complaining that they ought to do and they're not doing enough (such as stopping all global trade and travel).

If they can't get a direct flight, they could easily fly to any European airport, and get a connecting flight from there, or take the train, coach, or hire a car to the border, hop on a ferry, or take the Eurotunnel.  One way or another, anyone who is determined enough to get home will find a way.

For the vast majority of people apparently having the flu is worse than this virus, and within 5 days of showing signs of the virus your body's own immune system clears it. hence why there's no cure or effective treatment the hospital can administer, only supportive treatment. Yet 99% of people with Coronavirus clear the virus themselves. 1% succumb to the virus.

But those statistics are based on those tested...the very ill.  People with mild flu symptoms — a cold — don’t get tested for the virus.  

Can you see?  World catches a cold — and never recovers fully due to fear and panic.

I was talking to a lad in work and one of his family members self isolated as they'd been to Italy. Apparently you phone 111. Tell them whats what and within a day some health care professional turns up and takes a swab from inside your mouth/cheek. Two days later was told they were all clear. Just common cold.

If this is happening all over the country no wonder we are getting a good picture if the virus in the community.

With community transmission taking hold, one has to wonder if it was maybe not so safe for those horsemen bus drivers to not have protection. The passengers were wearing masks when they boarded the bus, but were they wearing them when they dressed and before. Seems their clothes could have possibly been contaminated.

  What do they do if their test says positive? Are you taken away and locked away in Isolation? Are you ordered to "self isolate" and do they check by posting a police officer (at a safe distance) to make sure you do?

Anyone who is suspected of having the disease is asked to voluntarily self-isolate themselves and call NHS 111.  Authorities will contact the person and determine if they are positive.  If they are, then (preferably by phone) they will be asked to provide all available information regarding every location they have recently been to, and who they were in direct contact with, so that they too can be informed and self-isolate themselves to stop the disease from spreading, as many people could be carrying the disease as hosts and could potentially spread the disease to more vulnerable people without realizing it.  Travel restrictions may also be enforced, and a heavy fine if the person who tests positive refuses to self-isolate themselves as they would be endangering the lives of others on purpose.  If a person tests positive and 'medically' is unable to self-isolate themselves (needs care assistance as they are blind, elderly, disabled etc) then they will be transferred to a medical facility that specializes in treating quarantined patients e.g. patients exposed to high levels of radiation etc.  When they overcome the effects of the disease and test negative, they will be discharged back home.  Owing to the limited resources that the NHS can provide, patients are asked to self-isolate themselves at home.
