1 million flood in from Europe

A million Eastern Europeans have come to Britian since EU enlargement in Maylast year,official new figures will be revealed today.

Around 100.000 of themadmitted they planned to stay more than three months-shocking MPs and imigration experts.

Last year the Home Office forecasts that net imigration from Eastern Europewould be 5.000 to 13.000 .

Sir Andrew green boss of independant group Migrationwatch UK ,said this confirms that the government hopelessly underestimated from Eastern Europe .

This figure is only likley to grow as people GET TO KNOW THE ROPES from friends.

Shadow Home Secetary David Davies added {the number arriving from assession countrues is about ten times Labours estimates.It is no surprise nobody believes what Mr Blair says about getting a grip on immigration}

A staggering 923.000visitors came here from Poland,hungry ,the Cheq Republic.Slovakia,slovenia,Latvia,Lithuania and EstoniaFrom may 1st to November 30th.

The last two months totals will push that figure towards one million

I am all for people who genuinely are seeking asyllum but for most they are taking the p*** and me as a tax payer are paying for these people. Lottie, these people are more than likely to simply assimilate in the british population within one generation.... they are christian\atheist, they come from a similar european culture, and thus aren't likely to become another burden on British social agendas.

Yes, they might be a burden right now, but just think at how many problems the huge non-european immigration into western europe has caused (rise of racism, lack of assimilation, etc), and just thanks the fact that those fellas from eastern europe wouldn't create the same problems in the long run.

You mention they are christian/atheist. I am not bothered about religion, there are so many different religions and cultures in this country and that is what makes this country so great, its a multi cultural society, we can all mix together and live together peacefully- relatively.

Regardless of the religion or whether they are from similar european culture the fact is that they are coming over to this country where we are already busting at the seams. Where there is still unemployment issues, housing issues and NHS waiting lists to name a few and expecting this country to take them in and support them, give them free housing, free money, free medical attention, free schooling and jobs. There is not enough for the people of this country to begin with, let alone for more people to come waltzing in and having a free for all fest.

Well there is a large Muslim population in this country and has been for a long long time and so far apart from the likes of Abu hazma Muslim leader fanatic psycho is now in prison, although he should of been hung along time ago, everything here is pretty peaceful as its always been and no terrorist attacks.

Spain has dealt with terrorism much longer than the start of 9/11 and their problems with terrorism are primamrily ETA a Basque, leftist christian group and because its very easy to cross Spain and france many of the leaders of ETA are in france.

Muslims have been in our country for decades remember, the majority are peaceful citizens who just want to live a nice life. Hazma is behind bars and I am damn sure that any other nutcase is being carefully watched. As for ETA as you are probably aware they are a Leftist Christian group, not Muslim, I was just pointing this out. ETA have been around since, if I remember the 1960's their issue is wanting an independant state in Nothern Spain and South western France. I do not think they are very bothered about us, Britain or America or anyone else at all. ETA and the Islamic Fundamentalists Al Qaeda although both terrorist organisations are completely seperate and have no links.

I am afraid you are lliving in dreamworld my friend. Go do some research on the costs these immigrants bring to the country through benefits etc, and the trouble they cause in terms of crime and social disorder. Then come back and speak on the subject. It's all well talking about it from another country, but when you live here you ssee it with open eyes, the true picture.

Oh I know what you were saying, I wasn't implying anything. Just saying we have the same problem everywhere. I blame the capitalists for not aiding the Third World and causing such poverty in the first place. The UK (or any industrial nation for the that matter) can't support an endless stream of refugees, however, for our wealth we do very little to sort the matter abroad. In the other thread it mentions all these millions going to new nukes. Why are we making nukes? Someone only makes something like that if they intend to use them to kill. US and the west want to win the war on terror, they'll instead start funnelling that money into the poor nations to biuld houses, schools and industry. Winning the war on terror and hearts isn't about how many nations the US can occupy and weapons it'll never use it builds, its about ending poverty.
