He hired them, he can fire them. He needs people who he can trust, people who will work with him, not people who will undermine him and badmouth him behind his back. How can a president get anything done if his underlines do the opposite of what he wants? He is the president, he sets the rules and policies, these people are there to enact it and make sure it succeeds. Let's say a sandwich maker hires a guy to make sandwiches, but that guys starts making tacos and refuses to make sandwiches, well then he has to fire that person and find someone who will make sandwiches because it is a sandwich shop. Trump is the boss regardless if you like it or not, you do what the boss wants period. The people elected him to be the boss and to enact his policies. You can try to convince him to do things a different way, but you are not suppose to take over and do the opposite of what he wants. There was no criminal charges brought for, only political charges which didn't have enough evidence to convict. These people undermined him and were insubordinate, they should be fired. The PEOPLE elected Trump to run this nation, to do what he campaign on and promised them, the people he is firing were undermining that and trying to stop it. Only way a boss can be fired or removed if he does commit a criminal act, Trump didn't commit any criminal acts, they tried to convict him for making a phone call. Oh and by the way, one does not have to commit a criminal act to be impeached (or fired for that matter). As for those 'four facts' they undermine nothing. The underhanded dealings were far more complex than a mere phone call. Furthermore, the fact that the Ukrainians did nothing is irrelevant. The position of Head of State isn't the same as the position of a CEO or any boss at a company. In the case of the POTUS he represents a nation, hopefully Democratically and should conduct himself with honesty and integrity towards ALL HIS CITIZENS, even those that disagree with him. There was no quid pro quo. If Sondland and Vindman aren’t politically savvy enough to recognize a sham impeachment trial, then they shouldn’t be involved in politics.
