Care to cite the evidence?  Or is that too much of a demand in your opinion?

It's interesting that you quoted that one! I could go into detail about his "Perfect" phone call, but it's useless as you have already made up your mind.
Anyway, I just want to make it clear! Trump is guilty, and there is no reasoning, or opinions that will change that. The Senate saved his guilty ass.

maybe I'm misunderstanding your Congress House rules so let's see.

Assuming he chose to invoke his right to Executive privilege, the subpoenas would stand in abeyance until a court ruled that the individuals HAD to testify.  The other issue is that the Constitution makes it clear that the House of Representatives has the sole power to Impeach.  It doesn't say the Speaker of the House is vested with that authority.  Pelosi began this charade without ever allowing the full House to vote to begin the process so there is a valid question of whether any of the subpoenas were valid.  Again, to be sure, it would have to be litigated.

Regardless of whether they complied with the law to testify, NONE of them, under direct questioning, were able to say that they heard or saw him demand a quid pro quo, or a bribe or gain any concession whatever from Zelensky.  They literally created their own narrative about what they thought his M O T I V E S were.  Did you grasp that?  They were behaving like they could read minds and their opinions had the weight of evidence in court.  It was ridiculous and had Schiff been forced to allow counsel to cross examine them, it never would have seen the light of day.  It was and is a SHAM.

As to him showing them the door, tough noogies.  That's his prerogative just like it was for Obama, Bush...  IMO, he was fool not to clean house in 2016.

I note you provide no evidence of vote tampering, or FTM, anything else except your opinion.  Thankfully, that isn't yet enough to convict a citizen with.  Dude you can hate as much as you like, that's your right.  But if you make statements about guilt and you have no evidence it just makes you sound like shill.  That's on you.

I get what you are saying And Then. Hey Drakonwick, please read this closely. People can actually sue people if they make a statement of fact directed a specific person with intent to make them look criminal or unsavory that has no basis in reality. It is called slander and what Drakonwick did was practically slandering president Trump, because he did a false statement of fact instead of saying that he is suspected of doing it. Don't assume that someone is guilty of something and tell everyone that they are without evidence to back it up.

Quote

In United States constitutional law, false statements of fact are an exception from protection of free speech under the First Amendment. In United States law, a false statement of fact will not be exempt from some civil or criminal penalty, if a law has imposed one. This exception has evolved over time from a series of Supreme Court cases that dealt with issues such as libel, slander, and statutes which barred fraudulent solicitation of charitable donations. A major limiting factor to this concrete First Amendment exception are statements made against public figures. In New York Times v. Sullivan (1964), the Court strongly suggested that even "deliberate lies" could not be punished if made against the government. Since that decision, many cases that have dealt with this rule have struggled to define the line of who actually is a 'public figure'. The Supreme Court has also extended this doctrine to non-political figures who are simply famous or well known in the media.

The point surely is that no matter if they were acting according to their consciences or whatever or this, that or the other, if they'd conspired to get their superior fired - which in basic term sis what they did - it's surely no surprise that that boss would hardly be willing to tolerate their continuing to work for him would they. So it's hardly outrageous vindictiveness on the part of the Don to suggest they might be happier seeking further employment elsewhere.

Apparently, you don't do very well at processing the clear use of English.  Care to cite which of those indictments or pleas were related to the cause for the investigation?  As in, which ones were charged or plead guilty to conspiracy or collusion to change the outcome of the 2016 election?  Lining up the evidence of prosecutorial abuse by Mueller and his goons only impresses the idiots who lap up the MSM sewage.  We have a saying in America... you can indict a ham sandwich but it doesn't mean you'll get a conviction.  Those 17 attorneys that used unlimited government resources to crush people like General Flynn should die slow and rot in hell, IMO.

But hey, whatever gives you joy, I'll just bask in his continuing victories against the people who are so convinced they are better than him and his supporters :tu:  We're at 191 Federal Judge appointees and counting.  So, roll on, cat daddy.  We'll be here when his haters are gone ;)

Joker, no, not that one of that movie ... This one...

And besides, where were their principles, these people? Surely they wouldn't have wanted to continue working for a boss who they believe is a criminal and a crook and a Traitor to their Nation? Surely they should have resigned if they any principles?

Either they have no principles and very corrupt or they want to subvert and sabotage their boss so Democrats could win. Basically it has two implications there. From what they have done with the impeachment and how they were insubordinate, I am incline to believe the latter is true. Trump should have cleaned office of Obama holdouts like Obama did when he was elected, of course Trump wanted to be fair and give them a chance which was an big mistake on his part. Democrats has lost all of my faith and trust in them due to all the corruption, this is coming from a independent and now feels the only choice he has is Trump. Until Democrats clean their party, I am going to continue to highlight what is wrong with them and hoping that maybe people will realize the truth. Once Democrats have cleaned up, then I might consider voting for them again based on policy alone as long as it better policy than Republicans.

Democrats fix your damn party!

Honestly, I couldn't care less. I am a independent voter! When I see the worship of Trump, it just makes me want to vote against him even more.

People are not worshiping him, they put their trust in him. He has proven that he is capable of fixing the economy and keeping his campaign promises, that is what they want more than anything. On the other hands, people don't want to put their trusts in Democrats because of what they seen time and time again these past three years. Democrats have proven that they can't govern, they pander to the most extreme ideologies, and that they are willing to lie about anything; they also have corrupt media on their side and people don't like being mislead. If anyone is to blame for Trump being so popular, it is the Media and Democrats, their failures and corruption makes Trump look like a saint compared to them.

i don't mean to stir the pot but wasn't Mitt Romney brave and defiant in voting with his conscience and Christian beliefs ?

TBH, I expected a few more from those who could sit there till 2024.  Six years is too long for the electorates memory.

However, what is expected from public servants, is frank and fearless advice.

If they cheated then I hope they get the full penalty of the law.  America won't survive if citizens stop believing we can trust elections.  But I still believe that before people get convicted, there needs to be evidence otherwise we're just another 3rd world tinpot dictatorship.

People are mad at Mitt Romney because they see him attacking what they perceive is the only hope they have to buck the DNC establishment who have gone off the rails. No one who supports Trump wants a socialist in power at all, except for maybe those who joined Trump Train because they have no place in DNC anymore thanks to their purity purges.

Why the bemused face, Golden Duck? Why are you astonished that a boss should not look tolerantly on subordinates who not only tried to get them fired, but tried for treason as well? Would you, if you were a boss in that situation, be happy to let bygones be bygones and for them to continue in your employment?

Yes, they are. Where I live I see people with Trump 2020 stickers all over raised 4X4 trucks, even waving the Rebel Flag, it's disturbing!

I agree with this but once they've given that counsel it isn't their duty to try to hamstring a duly elected president because he doesn't follow their lead.  When you really listen to these witnesses, it's obvious that this was their issue with him.  They felt he was illegitimate and that was enough for them to feel justified in creating a narrative that was not proven.

Or, the trial verdict wasn't purely along party lines.  Therefore, there was a degree of impartiality.

Thank you Mitt.

PS. Do you think they'll make him pay in 2024?

Yeah he is going to be voted out by his voters and replaced by a Republican candidate. Only reason he was re-elected was because he had the backing of Trump.

Question! Were Barack Obama supporters threatening the lives of people who disagreed with them?
I have seen posts of Obama in a noose being hanged! You will never make me believe that some republicans are not racially driven.
