"Hundreds of demonstrators have demanded action from the Mexican government after the latest murder of a young woman in the country.

"An average of 10 women are murdered in Mexico every day but the protests were sparked by the particularly grisly killing of 25-year-old Ingrid Escamilla in Mexico City."

oh please, Gertz, it happens on your watch , you KNOW it is happening, you are NOT doing your job, based on how many killed in mexico, you never had, at least in last 20 years.

The average daily toll is around 90. 

On THAT basis, women are being prejudiced against by being BELOW the average daily murder rate.

The problem is the government can't really do anything. The cartels have better funding, better weapons and a better more fanatical army. The prohibition on drugs has made the cartels narcokings
