Albator Posted March 3, 2020 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2020 It was mailed on September 25th 1990. Was it from the Zodiac Killer or is it a hoax? Anyway, here's the solution. It refers to the horror movie Elves, which was released on October 24th 1989 Patrick Béland, Qc, Canada.

That "LINETIP, EH" does not make sense to me either, even after learning what CONSPECTUS means.

It looks like an address, not a message on the left part of the card. And since the deliver to address is supposed to be on the right side of the card how did the post office deliver it? Or was it just given to the police or the press? It could just be a joke for a postal worker. Edited March 3, 2020 by Desertrat56

Stiff Posted March 3, 2020 #8 Share Posted March 3, 2020 Damn, I misread the title. I thought it said "I have solved the Celibacy Cypher". As you were. (And welcome aboard Albator).
moonman Posted March 5, 2020 #9 Share Posted March 5, 2020 (edited) I take back what I said, you didn't solve anything on this one. You've got multiple letters being represented by multiple symbols and vise-versa. S, E, F, and L for example - represented by different symbols in different spots. Zero consistency. Just like the 408 cipher. For example, in that 3 part cipher, letter E is represented by 6 different symbols.

That's very convenient for you to force things to fit, but you have the same symbol standing for different letters in spots. I can see different symbols standing for the same letter, but not the other way around. The fact remains - your "solution" doesn't make any sense, nor does any other one you have claimed to solve. In my solution, all symbols represent only one letter. 2. In the 408 cipher, the dark triangle represent: A, I, S 3. I have indeed solved the Celebrity Cypher

I don't think it's the solution. Interesting attempt though. Also, you are missing part of the code by leaving a part not deciphered.

I have indeed solved the Celebrity Cypher So you have a code where any symbol can mean any letter it wants, and yet you STILL can't force it to make any sense. Yeah, you solved it all right. You made a mess of some words and letters, that's not a solution. And on top of that you pull this "elves" movie nonsense straight out of your butt, when it has zero connection to anything besides the word "elf" and maybe "films". I state again: you haven't solved a single one of these ciphers that you have claimed to. Perhaps it's time for a new hobby, code breaking isn't your thing. Here's an example that I have found on the internet. https://bigtakeover.com/recordings/misty-boyce-tough-love-ep-misty-boyce As for the word "conspectus", one of his synonyms is "brief". Film's scornful brief line tip. It is interesting to note the differences in people's reactions to a subject depending on the forum where it is posted. https://www.reddit.com/r/ZodiacKiller/comments/f8roht/i_believe_i_have_solved_the_celebrity_cypher/ Oh well.
