Eldorado Posted March 5, 2020 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2020 (edited) "U.S. prosecutors say they have a witness who will directly implicate a Russian businessman known as “Putin’s chef” in schemes to carry out election interference overseas. "The mystery witness is prepared to testify at a criminal trial set to open in Washington next month in a case special counsel Robert Mueller brought accusing three Russian companies and 13 Russian individuals of meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, a prosecutor declared at a recent court hearing." aztek Posted March 5, 2020 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2020 (edited) why is article description says us interference???? it is not in the articles. it is clear spreading of false narrative Quote Jones said the discussions the witness plans to recount dealt with election meddling in a country outside the U.S., but didn't specify which country. Previous reports have linked Prigozhin to election influence campaigns in African countries. It is unknown whether the witness has similar knowledge about Russia’s alleged interference in U.S. elections, the outlet said. Quote Under questioning by U.S. District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich, the prosecutor said that the witness has knowledge of plans to interfere in elections in a country other than the U.S. It was not entirely clear whether the witness is also privy to similar details about the alleged U.S. election interference. +and-then Posted March 5, 2020 #5 Share Posted March 5, 2020 4 hours ago, aztek said: why is article description says us interference???? it is not in the articles. it is clear spreading of false narrative This is, apparently, the one Russian business that Mueller dumped on, expecting them to just ignore the charges but which demanded their day in court. IIRC, anyway. I recall that at the time, Mueller backed off on publicizing it like the other 13 indictments because he knew he'd have to comply with the Russian firm's right to a little inconvenience we Americans have, called: DISCOVERY... In short, the prosecutor has to provide the evidence they have so that the defense can properly prepare for trial. If this is the case I'm remembering, Mueller is going to have to jump through hoops to ignore their right to discovery. I'm sure it will be swallowed up in "National Security". Scum that they are, I hope they get humiliated for refusing to share evidence. 1

Eldorado Posted March 24, 2021 Author #8 Share Posted March 24, 2021 A Russian oligarch with close ties to Vladimir Putin who has been accused of financing the Internet Research Agency (IRA) demanded the FBI remove him from its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, claiming: “Fraudsters are fraudulently trying to accuse me, a squeaky clean person, of fraud.” Yevgeny Prigozhin, a wealthy tycoon who became known as “Putin’s chef” for catering events held by the Kremlin, argued in a letter on Wednesday that the FBI reward of up to $250,000 for information leading to his arrest in connection with Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election was in violation of international law. In a letter his company shared to the social media network Vkontakte, Mr Prigozhin wrote: “The FBI must immediately cease offering a monetary award to the public for my capture and delivery to the United States as this violates several principles of human rights under international law.” MSN
