Time Traveler Dinner Party

So you have a Time Machine. 

With it, each week you can make three trips to pick up a guest to bring them to dinner for an evening.

Who would you invite?

 

I play this game with myself routinely, whoever I choose to invite, I then spend a few hours reading excerpts from their books, or listen to youtube lecture's by them... or just think it out as Thought Theater.

 

My guests this afternoon are:

Also, since he's now sadly also a figure of the past, Terry Pratchett.

And Raymond Chandler. I think he'd have some great conversation.

Napoleon Hill used to play this game as well.  He'd invite the likes of Abraham Lincoln, Henry Ford and Andrew Carnegie.  He stopped doing it he said because their conversations became so real he thought he might actually lose his mind.
