Naw, it's the I.S.S. I watched it all the time when I was "bush" and there were open skies with no light pollution.

What a joke. So many lying liars on the net these days.  Another fuzzy photo of a star or Chinese lantern.  If it had been a real UFO he'd have been saying  "What the **** is that?" or " OMG what the **** is that?"

This video a great example why zooming in on a far away point of light is always pointless and counter productive.

I will never not be entertained seeing this answer for anything and everything that has ever appeared in the sky.

Just to repeat Photography Basics 101...

If your camera has only got digital zoom - TURN IT OFF.  It's effn USELESS on point light sources and simply generates false detail.

OPTICAL zoom is the only type that really zooms in, and cheap to mid-range phones generally do not have it.  The first part of the footage, ie not trashed by the digital zooming, did look a lot like the ISS, but who would know for sure.  It's just uselessly bad footage.

While we're at it, the autofocus on phone cameras is usually hopeless at focusing on tiny points of light.  If you can, set the camera to infinity focus.

Heavily distorted view of a light source ? Could be anything from the landing light of a plane far away, to the ISS, he was talking of Venus, well it could be Venus if is not standing still??

Back in the 90's our planet was suddenly being invaded by UFOs that looked like flying diamonds. Of course they were all just out of focus points of light through the five bladed apertures of cheap camcorders.

And I make the same point I've made since the 90's...

I am not alone in being a person who carries a decent camera + big lens with me almost all the time, even when I go for a walk...  Back in the 90's, it was a film camera (Minolta X700), and now (because they are so much cheaper) it's a digital with a longer and better lens..  (Sony a57 with 300 (effectively 450) lens)

That camera + lens can go from wide panoramas:

to long stabilised telephoto shots, in an instant:

But gosh golly darn it, I and those other good camera carriers are SOOOOOOOOO unlucky.  The UFO's always appear ONLY in front of those with cameras that have potato lenses....
