I believe he really thinks it could be something interesting, because he really is someone who wants to believe, no strings attached.

The fact that he used his money to start that foundation says a lot about what I wrote above. I don't think he's being shady here.

He used nothing. He found a bunch of stupid investors then wrote himself a salary which put the whole fiasco into the negative numbers. 

and it wasn't a "foundation". It was a "for profit" corporation

There is nothing more boring than a video of an out of focus bright light and someone claiming he can tell the distance to the light.

I think DeLonge needs a basic class in astronomy so he won't be so laughably ignorant of what he is viewing.
