and why not the court does it?

Because Impeachment and trial in Senate are the provisions in our Constitution for removing a president.  Impeachment is not a legal issue, it's a political issue.

It won't matter.  Just look at Virginia's governor and lieutenant  governor's actions and the results.  Ds are never held accountable the way Rs are.

On the contrary, the law should be higher than the parties,

You should spend some time reading commentary on the U.S. Constitution.  We have 3 branches of government and all are co-equal.  That's the way it was designed.  You're welcome to your opinion but it doesn't matter here.

Also, by the vote of his party, it is decided whether to impeach him or not, and why not the court does it?

The impeachment proceedings in the Senate were presided over by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

Supreme judges, of course, consider this case because all violations are related to the consideration in court but the final decision is made by a majority of deputies. And since the ruling party had more votes, the result of Trump's acquittal was known in advance, so he wanted to finish this obviously disastrous case as soon as possible.

In past years, Clinton, in court, also lied under oath that he had no connection with Monica Lewinsky, but when reporters unearthed the case, it turned out that he had a connection with her, but for that he also had nothing. So, your presidents do not bear any responsibility for their words and deeds as the ruling party covers the president.

The House of Representatives voted to draft the Articles of Impeachment against the President, followed by a 21-day Senate trial.

All Democrats in the Senate voted to justify both perjury and obstruction of justice. President Clinton was acquitted on all counts and remained in office

So, comrades Americans, the consideration of the case in court and the voting by deputies is, in general, deposition of the court and the law as such.

Coil, are you really trying to explain to Americans how our Constitution works?  Impeachment is not a LEGAL remedy.  It has always been political.  BTW, considering that Ukraine is one of the most corrupt nations in Europe, maybe you'd spend your time better to research the faults THERE?

You forgot the option of None/other!  Why does everyone do that?  There is no choice between those two senile hateful old men.

Except Trump is not senile.  He is a horse, especially next to Biden.  And the hate only goes one way, at Trump.  Standing up to hate is not hate itself.  It is being indomitable.

Well, I think it is 50/50 right now.  No way to predict it.  My hope is that a 3rd party will have a huge impact, And it would be very interesting if enough people voted the way they really feel, instead of pretending we have to choose from one of two evil reprobates. (we have more than 2 parties and one is finally on the ballot in all 50 states).

As this poll is showing, I think it is closer to 70/30.  No one votes for just the party.  There might be other parties in name, but ultimately this nation is only a two-party nation.  It’s that which is skewed.  We don’t have a two-party system.  We have Socialism trying to gobble up all political thought and those that refuse to succumb.  The whole point of voting is for the individual to vote the way they really feel.  Socialists are going to vote for Biden, no matter how they feel about him.  The anti-Socialists are going to vote for Trump, no matter how they feel about him.  This is an election over ideology, not personality.  This is not an election between two evils.  Good vs evil has clearly been delineated.

Shaping up to be an epic race.

A guy who doesn't take responsibility and wants to be a cheerleader but have absolute authority when he decides to use it

vs

A guy who may not know that he has any authority at all.

The election will be determined by how well Pres. Trump handles the economic recovery. If four months from now the DJIA is back to its previous levels, and industry/business performance is returning to prosperity, then the pandemic will be forgotten. Elections are won by candidates who have a groundswell of ‘Hope for the Future’ to campaign on.

There are so many factors at play right now it's hard to make a prime projection about anything.........

For 2016, I would say that.  Even though, what I saw in Trump from the beginning was the “right stuff”, I still would not go out on the limb to say so.  I was too timid because I thought this was too good to be true.  All the other Republican candidates (all good candidates in their own right) were just too much in the mold of a “kinder and gentler” rule.  Completely wrong style to deal with Socialism.  This country had been going in the wrong direction for too long.  Trump was the relief.  I think he still has the “right stuff”.  I trust that feeling now.  He has only gotten stronger.  Everything the Left has used to attack Trump has failed and their actions have become even more desperate.  Trump will come out of this as very Presidential and the country will be stronger than ever.  The markets may not be fully recovered but the prognosis will be very bright.  What is the Left going to do?  Investigate Trump for his excellent covid response?  If they try that, they will be laughed out of office.  They’ve already squandered their capital on a phony collusion and fake impeachment.  The well is dry but that won’t give them pause to get another bucket of air.  They really only have violence as their last stand.  You saw the frustration in the MSM in last night’s covid press conference.  Trump was giving it right back to them.  I don’t see anything happening until October, so it will be interesting to see what they do until then.  Do you really think the Left will allow even one Biden/Trump debate?  They’d do better to impeach him again.

Trump won by electoral votes last time.  Even hateful Hillary got 3 million more popular votes than Deceiving Donald.

And Trump will not only win the Electoral College, he’ll win the popular vote.

We have had 3+ years of President Trump doing what he does best.

he hasn’t disappointed.

His base loves him, he alienates the rest which is why his base loves him.

I think this ‘alienated rest’ is a lot smaller than you think it is.

That has not ever got him much above 50-50 at the best of times.

This is all politics.  Those that do respond are more than likely never Trumpers.  The reality is that polls are cheap.  One may not like Trump but in the one poll that matters, people vote with their pocketbook.

Hardly seems like the greatest landslide ever.

Let’s wait and see.

He may win the electoral votes again but not by a larger margin than last time.  And he may well lose the popular vote again.

Keep dreaming.  Didn’t they say he had no chance in 2016.

What may tell the story is Congressional races.  Dealing with Nancy and Mitch  might be the critical issue to some.

After the impeachment clown show, the House has a good chance to go over to the Republicans.  They should gain a few more seats in the Senate.

I agree and as the campaign unfolds and Biden is exposed for the empty suit that he is, Trump will look outstanding by comparison.  Can you even imagine what a debate would resemble?  I still believe that most Americans are fair-minded and are watching the scam the media have been running for nearly 4 years.  If Trump is even moderately successful in restarting the economy, he wins in a landslide and his haters know it.  This is why they are doing everything they can to set him up for blame for every single death from Covid 19 as soon as he restarts the economy.  They are going to lose again and the post election chaos is going to be ugly.  I think many of them are over the edge mental.
