Plan to turn Moon into giant telescope

"NASA wants to place an ultra-long wavelength radio telescope on the Moon in the hope of giving scientists a look at a time long before humans walked the Earth.

"When handing out new exploratory grants for ambitious space projects, NASA awarded funding to one particularly innovative project that has truly captured the imagination of sci-fi lovers.

"This project intends to insert the 3,281 ft Lunar Crater Radio Telescope (LCRT) inside a crater on the mysterious far side of the moon, which faces away from the noises and disturbances of Earth."

I am pretty certain the moon is flat.  it looks flat.  Astronomer Dean Martin said its like a pizza pie.

Saying building something in a crater on the moon will make it look like the Death Star is a bit much, lol.

Besides, we all know it's Saturn's moon Mimas that looks like the Death Star.

We've seen photos of what looks like a telescope, along with other artificial structures, on the moon.  Why build another one?

What is this "we"? You may think that you have done, astronomers, planetary scientists and other people that actually know what they are talking about haven't.
