Survival advantage in whatever form it takes is what is needed to perpetuate the species, not strength per se, . In our case, it seems to have been intelligence. The reporters then reply sarcastically with "Mr. President you claimed there is a cure." and their choice of words would be designed to twist around what he said out of context to attack him, and this would cause him to roll his eyes and think to himself "not another idiot" and then he would respond with - "You're a terrible person. I did not claim there is a cure, our medical specialists relayed the information they had to my advisors, and they informed me that there potentially could be a cure in the making, so Mr. reporter get your facts right. I did not 'claim' there 'is' a cure. I was told by my advisors that there might be a cure in the making." If the reporter was unbiased and had a shred of integrity he would have worded his question properly e.g. "Mr. President you have been told about a possible cure. Could you be more specific please? Thank you." Sadly not in today's world. Free99 Posted April 20, 2020 #56 Share Posted April 20, 2020 It really doesn't matter either way folks we had a short time to circle around this virus and stop it from spreading and we didn't and I mean we as in everyone in the world. Unlike other flu viruses this one can bounce around and take longer to show symptoms and in some people never show the first symptom and yet they can just carry it and pass it along to the next person. It's here now and it's going to run it's course until we find a cure for it and a vaccine to prevent folks from catching it. Social distancing is only going to do so much and for so long you can't just shut down the planet. I was just looking at projections of it that some are saying could keep this virus up and going until 2024 that's a long time. As contagious as this one is I'm not thinking it's going to take that long. But I don't think this is going to go away in a year. Trump messed up listing to the World Health Organization those people are nothing but a joke and he's doing right not sending them anymore of America's money. The virus I don't think came from no fish market yes that place is nasty and needs to be kept under control. But this virus I strongly believe was brewed up in a lab in China and got out of containment.
