Still Waters Posted April 18, 2020 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2020 A nearly six year search for a missing Texas City girl came to an end in Madisonville earlier this month. Penelope Inks was allegedly abducted by her mother, Heather Inks, in 2014. Around 9:45 p.m. on April 3, Madisonville Police were called to a motel off of I-45. "Officers received a call from dispatch, a female complaining she thought that her ex-husband was trying to poison her," said Chief Herbert Gilbert with the Madisonville Police Department. Officers determined no one was trying to poison her and say the woman wouldn't give them her real name. "So they ask her again. She gave another name and apparently this name was an alias name that she was using that was connected to the actual real name, which was Heather Inks," said Chief Gilbert. https://www.kbtx.com/content/news/Six-years-later-missing-Texas-City-girl-found-in-a-Madisonville-motel-569746991.html 1
qxcontinuum Posted April 18, 2020 #2 Share Posted April 18, 2020 (edited) A mother taking the child she gave birth to be with her is now called abduction. What an achievement! Edited April 18, 2020 by qxcontinuum

There are many valid reasons a parent can lose custody of their own child. No offense, but this isn't a new concept. 1
+joc Posted April 18, 2020 #4 Share Posted April 18, 2020 Madisonville...best known because they have a Buck-ee's gas station! You kind of have to go through Madisonville down I-45 on the way from Dallas to Houston. Great ending to a bad story! 1 hour ago, qxcontinuum said: A mother taking the child she gave birth to be with her is now called abduction. What an achievement! No...thwarting a court order of custody is called abduction. Did you even listen to the story? Are you a fan of a mother being on the run, with a child, for the really formative years of that child's life? Think about it. Living in motels...eating bad food...no real friends, no sleep overs, no school...no Dad... The bottom line is...if a mother thwarts a court order of custody of the child and takes the child...she is a felon. What's more...she is mentally unstable...not a good place for a child to be...living with a mother who is unstable and paranoid. 4

You could spend days in there and no one would notice. 1
