Sooooooooooooooo... if Kim DOES pop his clogs, who takes over ?

From what I have read most people expect his sister would take over, recently she was promoted to one of the highest positions in the North Korean government by her brother and the heads of the party seem to like her.

There is also the possibility his aunt might take power but it's far less likely.  Her husband was the brother of Kim Jung Il and for a long time was considered the second most powerful man in North Korea but was executed by Kim Jung Un relatively shortly after he took power.  From what I have read, whether its accurate or not is debatable, but the generals seem to prefer her but she hasnt been involved much with governmental matters since her husband was executed.

Kim Jung Un also still has quite a few siblings, most of who arent involved with the North Korean government at all, who could take his spot but they would just be acting as figure heads for either the military or party leaders.

This says he's fine,  but who knows. South Korean media is 95% BS.

You Christians are so fickle. You claim Shamanism is false yet fear them and believe the screwier ones' false prophecies.

Not on News media, I know several other things

First, Pyongyang has been lock-downed

Second, There is no specific government order which should be mentioned  in April and May

Third, there is some movement that his sister acts on behalf of Kim Jong Eun.

Yes, Kim jong Eun could be alive, but at least there is some incident happened.

While probsbly the best approach to take, the fact he wasn’t at the big “let’s worship old man Kim” parade last week or the week before is telling that something’s up.

Fair enough.  The point I should have put more effort into communicating was that is the only mention on 38north. A hospital in PY, EU and COVID-19 has been it really.

Korean fears, because there was a prophecy that after Kim Jong Eun dies, the War follows.

this War never stopped until Mountain Baek-Du erupts.

no need to be a nostradamus to see it will happen,  almost every regime change followed by a civil war,  and i'm not too sure people of NK will want that freedom, most of them anyway, look what happens after ussr collapsed,  war in moldova, and chechnya, economic decline, russia itself worse off now than during ussr times,   take old warsaw block countries, again wars, serbia vs croatia,  take iraq,  and libya, after killing dictators countries are worse off,  take egypt,  it is worse now for an average citizen than before arab spring,  looking at all that, NK might just want to live in their own bubble, and not have those problems, and it would be in china's interest that they do.

I hope he is dead.   Mostly because he always seemed like a guy who would want to go out with a bang.  Meaning that if he was in his last days, he may want to see his efforts in his nukes put to use while he was alive to witness it.

Apparently the vice president of Hong Kong satellite TV is saying Kim Jung Un is dead, the person making the claim is also the niece of China's foreign minister.

But this could be fake, the corresponding pic supposedly of Kim Jung Un dead does seem to be a rather bad photoshop attempt.

Reports now of PLA on heightened alert on North Korean border so this might be real.

Still no real reliable information on the state of being of Kim Jung Un, anything that makes any claims uses anonymous sources with no evidence backing it up.

What has been confirmed though is that China has sent a team to advise Kim Jung Un that included medical experts.  It's not clear if the medical experts were for a coronavirus outbreak or for Kim Jung Un's health.

This is just my opinion but if Kim Jung Un is still alive, which no one outside of high level North Korean political and military figures seem to know for certain, he is going to have to make some kind of irrefutable public appearance soon.  If anyone in the North Korean government or military wanted to kill Kim Jung Un for whatever reason now when there are rumors he is already dead would be the perfect time.

highly possible, China want to take North Korea.

Our last hope is that the USA defends China's ambition.

Well you know...he did kill a few of his own family members as well as several military leaders...I'm sure there is a long list of those who would wish him dead.  Anesthesia would be a perfect opportunity to ...get even...with the little sob story.

If he die, they will probably find a double to take is place. The double will probably execute his sister and the big shrimps will continue to control the population...

The situation will not change until they are not threaten with total annihilation and famine all year long. They survived the last war, US bomber stopped bombing in the Korean war because they were nothing left to bomb in North Korea. The fear of it is still anchored deep in the population and so it's easy to rule over them with despotism.

North Korea is like a cornered dog that some crazy people are kicking all day long... near death, scared like hell and trying to bite anything. That's a recipe for disaster.

How are they doing this, do they have people in Kims home or at the hospital  (if he is in one) or are they reading The Sun news?

My guess would be intercepting communications probably with the occasional informant providing information.

As for new stuff going on in North Korea new activity has been noticed at an airbase in North Korea, some spots were cleared, viewing platforms put in, and a mobile missile launch platform has been seen at the airbase.  Seems North Korea will be launching a short to medium range ballistic missile which seems to be their main go to distraction.

The NY Post just put this up. This one says he's dead according to a source in Hong Kong. A Japanese magazine reports he's in a vegetative state.

https://nypost.com/2020/04/25/north-korean-dictator-kim-jong-un-rumored-to-be-dead/

Kim Jong Un is rumored to be dead, according to a Hong Kong broadcast network, while a Japanese magazine is reporting that North Korea’s rocket man is in a “vegetative state” after he underwent heart surgery earlier this month.

Other unconfirmed reports, attributed to senior party sources in Beijing, said an operation to insert a stent went wrong because the surgeon’s hands were shaking so badly.

Kim Jung Un missed another important anniversary, this one being the founding of the North Korean army.  Also more and more sources are running with the story that the Chinese team sent to North Korea was to check on his health.
