My mom has a friend from college who won the lottery. They apparently had to change their name, move to a different state, etc. because of how much they were hounded. Acquaintances, distant relatives, total strangers coming out of the woodwork from everywhere asking, begging, and even demanding a handout. One reason my mom knows all of this is because she was one of the few people who didn't ask for anything.
Michelle Posted April 29, 2020 #8 Share Posted April 29, 2020 No doubt. I don't think they should publicize the winners for their own protection.
saywhat Posted April 29, 2020 #9 Share Posted April 29, 2020 If the man bought 2 tickets with the same numbers, for the same lotto... wouldn't it be a givin that he'd win twice? I know it says he buys a ticket with his numbers and a quick pick, but in the Sky News part with his picture it says same numbers same lotto.
