It was the average voter (Deplorables) that voted Trump in. It was the Democrats that were trying to fix the outcome. Besides the usual ballot stuffing, their formula is to win 15 of the 25 most populated counties (that’s like 3 or 4 states). But Trump appealed to the other 3100 counties. This is perhaps the main reason, the Dems want to get rid of the Electoral College, because then, they would just need to focus on California. California would decide for everybody else.
