Really can't see that many republican voters approval for Trumps presidency after the way he handled the protests, let alone black voters.

Trump has handled the pandemic, shutdown, and now riots very well.  His capital among his supporters has gone up.  Many border line are starting to see reality too and approval in their eyes has gone up.  Through this whole time, you’ve witness Trump traverse a minefield.  Standing firm to win key battles or bending a bit to avoid from being broken.  It has been masterful.  I expect a major correction in the market, but Trump has put this economy in such a position that it is going to spring back so fast that the rioting will give way to prosperity.  The Left continues to try to tear down this nation with a manufactured crisis and then race riots and Trump counters with prosperity.  The Left cannot compete.  No cultural revolution here.  Yet what are they going to do next?  Today's news has made them step back even if for just a moment.

Yet you cited a poll that said 40% of blacks favor *Trump. So, either you believe in polls, or you dont. Which is it? Just the ones that agree with you?

One doesn’t have to believe in polls to note what one says.  Personally, I think it is higher because many blacks don’t want to admit to their feelings.  I don’t believe that the majority of Blacks are so superficial that burning down their businesses have anything to do with a cop killing a Black, who was resisting arrest.  Haven’t people figured out that if you openly challenge the police, you are going to get hurt and it’s nobody’s fault but your own??

Originally, the two parties were not that far apart. but starting in the 20th Century, Socialism tried to attach itself to the Republican party, but it died on the vine.  It quickly moved to the Democratic party where it flourished and as time went on, the gulf between the parties grew.  We need to get the Parties back to where they were.  We can do that by controlling the wave properties of the pendulum.  How do we prevent the pendulum from making wild swings?

Legislate in a way that preserves freedom of speech but stops the left high-jacking the political narrative as they have been doing. All it takes is libel laws where the President can show his speech to a court, then show what the journalist claimed he said, then sue them.

Name we one thing, just one, that Trump has done which is comparable to Hitler?

He stole his entire act from Hitler. Due to his physical and mental impairments, he leaves an impression of Mussolini impersonator, but that's just what happens to everything he tries doing, it ends up screwed up beyond recognition.

And so he was at burning the Reichstag phase, blaming imaginary Antifa (who are in reality far-right provocateurs) and managed to end up in a bunker

Tragicomic.

The image of Hitler in the social media posts has been digitally altered. The original -- which AFP found using a reverse image search and which was taken by the dictator’s photographer Heinrich Hoffmann in the 1930s -- shows his right hand is empty.

I just gave you few examples.

Let me rephrase it for you, in very, very simple words:

Trump says things Hitler used to say. He says them translated from German into English.

Trump is attempting to seize total power through civil unrest for which he blames the left. It's exactly how Hitler seized total power. Only trumpers are too incompetent so they're failing at their Reichstag moment.

One of the things Hitler used to say and Trump is repeating today is that any free press, political opposition or any foreigners are the enemy of the people. When he says the people, he means himself - the difference is that Hitler fancied himself the avatar of his movement while Trump does that in blind, unintelligent narcissism.

Trump is currently attempting to gather his own brownshirts and outlaw the opposition.

It's very stupid to assume the same narrative and the same methods Hitler and Trump share are supposed to lead into different results. Fortunately, Trump has no brains or support to make his totalitarian fantasy come true. Additional blessing is that his blundering American Reich attempt has lured all the wannabe Nazis out in the open, they tied their political future to the worst incompetent disgrace ever and they are therefore now politically dead as disco.

Thank God for small favours.

Go read a book now and leave me to laugh at the morons in peace.

And here the policeman pushed the man away and he hit his head and blood flowed:

If people choose Trump again, it means they don’t draw conclusions but I hope that there will be a different president since Trump’s rating has fallen even more.Every day, about a thousand Americans die from the coronavirus and this is stable. If this continues, there will be more than 200 thousand dead or about 300 in the worst case scenario before the November elections.

Coronavirus's best friend is Trump.

Trump has become adept at snatching 'defeat from the jaws of victory'. Presented with two very big issues so near to the elections he could have acted with skill, political nuance, and taken difficult but world leading actions to show he is responsible, responsive and decisive. In both challenges he failed.

Even in the midst of a giving an otherwise good speech on what were relatively good employment figures and making the right noises about equality for all in justice, he blew it with "Great Day" for George Floyd comment.

I am beginning to wonder if he will even be the Republican nominee, I suspect he is 1 more blunder away from losing it!.

Republican strategists will no doubt be already well aware that he has failed in 4 years to extend his appeal outside of his 40% base and that the 'independents' seemingly are not with him at the moment with his approval rating stuck at circa 42%.

Good catch Bee, I have said that Trump is very similar to Adolf Hitler, for a very long time and that is how he is viewed by many people Nation Wide. Even Steve Bannon thinks that President Trump has the right qualities to fill Hitlers shoes, so much so that Bannon gave President Trump a first printing of Mein Kampf signed by Adolf Hitler and also signed by Bannon himself. President Trumps ex-wife said she has seen the book on the night stand next to Trumps bed, it has also been seen in the Oval office on the Resolute Desk by different people on many occasions, and the similarities  go on.

Neither Hitler nor Trump campaign on specific policies, beyond a few slogans. Instead, both promise a new vision of leadership. They portray the existing political systems as fundamentally corrupt, incompetent, and, most importantly, unable to generate decisive action in the face of pressing problems. Both use their personal biographies—or rather, the highly edited accounts of their personal biographies they present to the media—to conjure up a new style of politics, which is based neither on expertise nor on detailed policy proposals.

Instead—they suggest—their own personal 'struggle' shaped them into—supposedly—authentic leaders, capable of overcoming adversity through sheer force of character. In this scenario, democracy has less to do with representative institutions than with a leader who is intuitively 'in tune' with the sentiments of the people. This should give us pause for thought. Like Hitler, Trump is capitalizing on a longing for charismatic leadership, to which even highly developed Western democracies seem very susceptible when democratic structures fail to deliver all the desired outcomes.

No Western democracy currently faces problems on the scale of those Germany grappled with before 1933. And yet, there is a very real sense amongst a large part of the population that they have not been on the "winning side" for a long time. The gap between rich and poor is getting wider, and in the process, the classical attributes of political leadership—education, expertise, eloquent speeches—have come to be seen not as problem-solving strategies, but as the identity markers of a social elite who are looking after their own interests only.

Even where new policies on healthcare, education, or job creation achieve their goals, they are not popular, because they are tinged with that smell of elitism that makes many ordinary people not feel valued by the political classes. Trump has not been the first demagogue to capitalize on such sentiments, and he will not be the last. If elected for a second term we may not see a resurgence of National Socialism. or at least we hope not. Trump is, nevertheless, a symptom of a fundamental problem with our democratic system, due to his Megalomania, Serious Narcasistic Personality Disorder, and his extreme insecurity which makes him a danger to America and the American people.

Firstly you have given no examples, you are just spouting off snowflake hysteria. Next lets look at the above claims.

1. Give me an example of something that Hitler said that Trump then translated into English and said?

2. In 1930s Germany Hitler was elected to kick butt, to claim back everything lost in WW1, to re-establish the Holy Roman Empire (the 3rd Reich), and to make Germany a great colonial power like Britain. How is that the USAs scenario exactly? In edition, the far-left in Germany at the time planted a firebomb in the Reichstag. The result of which was Hitler being democratically made dictator to sort out the threat to their coalition government and to deliver on the democratic will of the people. They voted for a strong man to sort their problems out, the far-left were trying to stop it. How is this comparable to a race riot over a cop killing a black African-American? Trump has not moved for dictator powers, he is simply deploying the national guard at the say so of state governors, and threaten to do it anyway unless they sort out their rioting and looing problems. That isn't dictatorship, although with the way the far-left are behaving you might end up turning him into a dictator to ensure democracy survives.

3. When has Trump closed down freedom of speech? It is in fact the democrats and left-wing media in the USA that are closing down free speech. Constant lies, distortions, and manipulations, and fact checking, to character assassinate Trump in any way they can. Why is it just Trump on the receiving end of this? Trump has passed legislation forcing Twitter to obey freedom of speech or risk libel. The very opposite of what you claim. At this I note you claim to be against the far-left as well as the far-right. Yet, how come we dont see the same level of paranoia and hysteria towards the democrats and left-wing media for their attempts at what is essentially tyranny? You are pro-left, you hate the right, you arent interested if someone actually is far-right or just centre or moderate right. To you, its all the same with your black and white polarised thinking where everybody on the right is the worst possible far-right politician imaginable.

4. Show us evidence Trump recruiting brown shirts?

Your claims are unfounded, in fact they are laughable, and most sane people arent listening to you. You have issues with the right, most over people dont.

Trump is very far from Hitler, he does not have an ideology, a cult of personality and purpose, he is not a speaker who carries millions of people behind him.
The protest should be suppressed and the blame for the coronavirus should be blamed on others and personal responsibility should not be borne - these are signs of a weak personality. At the briefings, he wanted to raise his rating and they turned into unpleasant comments from journalists, so the question was asked whether these briefings are needed at all if they work against the image of the president.

Both American parties are too conservative to nominate young people, so the radical Sanders has been put aside to remove the others in favor of Biden. Even in this forum there are too many conservative people supporting Trump.
Well, at least if Biden wins, then at least Trump will not be president.

Coronavirus and Floyd's mistreatment leading to death awakened the American people.
