Still Waters Posted June 6, 2020 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2020 Police officers and staff are being "terrorised" by a family of crows that is nesting at its headquarters. Essex Police Deputy Chief Constable Pippa Mills warned visitors to the site to "beware" and "keep calm and keep walking" in a tweet about the issue. She shared a photo of a warning sign which has been put up at Essex Police HQ. It advises people to "take an alternative route" or "wear a hat or use an umbrella". The sign urges people to "not act aggressive as they will feel threatened". https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-52938259?

GlitterRose Posted June 6, 2020 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2020 What did they do to tick them off? In my experience, crows are pretty friendly. Especially, if you have peanuts.

It's hard to believe, though, because I typically put out birdseed and they tend to be around. I've even thought that some followed me when I moved because they knew I would resume feeding them.
