TigerBright19 Posted June 9, 2020 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2020 (edited) What are your favorite 'safe zones' in video games? (locations where you can relax for a minute) e.g. Resident Evil - room with a typewriter: save progress - store and switch weapons - calm music. Alone in the Dark 4 - being in any room with plenty of light. Silent Hill 1 - Daytime Fog: save - search for supplies at own leisure. Kingdom O' Magic - daytime village Edited June 9, 2020 by Aaron2017
_Only Posted June 10, 2020 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2020 The save rooms in Resident Evil have always been a personal favorite, but I was traumatized playing the Resident Evil 2 remake recently, running away from a Licker. I just barely made it into the save room, but right as I entered the Licker tossed a swipe to my back that killed me. I fell forward into the middle of the save room, and listened to the door shut behind me as I died, my body laying in the middle of the room, door shut behind me. acute Posted June 10, 2020 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2020 In Tomb Raider 2013, I seem to remember taking refuge in Lara Croft's empty (unmapped) skull.
Conspiracy Posted August 10, 2020 #4 Share Posted August 10, 2020 Left 4 Dead safe rooms, nothing made me happier than seeing that red door while being chased by a tank on the hardest difficulty. Dark Souls series, any bonfire was a blessing.
