A video of outdoor gym equipment has gone viral across social media platforms leaving some baffled, amused and some even scared. The clip purportedly shows two sets of outdoor gym equipment in a park swinging on its own without anyone sitting on it. The unnatural movement of the shoulder press has scared netizens and is widely being shared on Facebook and WhatsApp.

In the clip, police officials can be seen recording the eerie movement as the gym equipment moves in a spooky manner without anyone sitting on it.

For all its viralness it seems someone should do some at least nominal research into this case. Those are obviously real people there that can give us information. Their stories can be told and the equipment directly investigated. But NO in this article and the one I saw on another forum.

Awwww, dang. Watch starting around the 1:30 for the explanation to this one... it's in a foreign language, but no sound necessary for this...

Notice how at the start of the video the magnitude of the oscillations is greater than at the end?

Jhansi Police took to Twitter to issue a clarification behind this now viral video and chances are the real reason will leave you giggling. The department’s tweet when translated from Hindi details the reason behind the incident.

They wrote that someone used excessive amount of grease in the machine and gave it a nudge. Due to the lubricant, it started moving by itself for a few seconds. Some miscreant took a video and shared it on social media. During investigation, police tried the same thing and recorded it too.

Might have been. It all blurs together after awhile.

edit: Nevermind, I was originally saying that's not a swing by definition, but I guess the bars are technically 'swinging' up and down on an axis.

I say hunting ghost in your own house is a fabulous idea. Why be disappointed by a long trip? It's right there. You might discover that your land was once a cemetery. Or it might have been a dinosaur tent revival thignamagig with blasphemous dragon conjugations and nefarious trilobitic nuances. Who knows?

Papameter 72% dragonistic 11% trilobitic 17% woo
