Absolutely. The namesake of HMS Endeavour. Lieutenant Cook's ship. Read a history of the voyage as a boy, dreaming of exotics places and golden cities far.

That is exactly the root of the name.

Both Behnken and Hurley made their first spaceflight aboard the shuttle Endeavour. They named the Crew Dragon capsule after the shuttle. The shuttle was named after HMS Endeavour.

The Apollo 15 Command/Service module was also named Endeavour (also British spelling) so the Crew Dragon is the 3rd U.S. spacecraft to bear that name.
