Still Waters

A burglar had to be rescued by firefighters during a botched break-in at a property in Swindon after getting himself trapped in a window and left hanging upside-down.

Frederick Moulton, 53, was rescued by Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service, while Wiltshire Police officers also attended the scene in Groundwell Road in the early hours of Thursday morning.

He has since been given an 18-month community order after pleading guilty to burglary at the empty property, and for possession of a Class B drug.

Captain Risky

I guess the follow up story is that he hurt himself in the process of burgling the premises and is now suing the owners.
