Mass Stabbing in Reading

"The double standard is best captured by the gaping disparity between what has been said in the UK about the brutal police killing of George Floyd and what is likely to be said about the killing of three people by a suspected Islamic terrorist in Reading. Despite happening 4,000 miles away, Floyd’s killing, and its aftermath, has dominated news coverage here. It has galvanised the activist middle classes. It has become the catalyst for change (smashing statues, ‘decolonising’ curricula, etc). The three victims of a suspected act of Islamist terror, in contrast, will swiftly be forgotten. It always happens. Their deaths will not come to signify anything.

Islamist violence is always removed from the moral universe that other political and violent acts are said to inhabit. It apparently has no cause, no meaning, no impact beyond the sad deaths it causes. It is not to be dwelt on, far less made the subject of any kind of wide-ranging public discussion. A culture of amnesia is deployed almost instantly in the wake of Islamist terror attacks."

The blaming of newspaper columnists or un-PC politicians for acts of neo-fascistic violence is very often an attempt to chill public discussion and to make certain things – on immigration, Islamic practices, and so on – unsayable. We should not play that game after Islamist attacks. And let’s remember the victims’ names. Perhaps they could be put on the back of footballers’ shirts in the next Premier League game.

well it looks like a group of gay men WERE targeted by the ISIS / Islamic State inspired terrorist...
imagine the never ending outrage and media reporting if this hadn't been a muslim who did the killing -

we would never hear the end of it...

the public are very aware of and annoyed by the double standards being applied by the Media - the police - etc. but because the Gay Community AND Muslims are protected and favoured by the underground stream of colluding cultural marxists / authoritarians / communists / technocrats / globalists (as they try to destabilize and demoralize western society).....

this one will be brushed under the carpet in double quick time...

 source Independent

Three victims, all gay men, were stabbed to death as they socialised in a park last Saturday.

Writing in The Independent, Deputy Chief Constable Julie Cooke urged people not to “speculate on the motive behind these awful crimes”.

As has been frequently and repeatedly pointed out to you, the difference is that terrorists face justice, American police do not.

Setton is clearly referring to officers charged and convicted for incidents that occurred in their roles of police officers.

Your list is of officers convicted of murder under any circumstances. You should read your own links.

The rioting in the US wasn`t about the death of Mr Floyd.

In my opinion some of the demonstrating was, but then the far-left jumped onboard to create civil disturbances. The same here in the UK. I have nothing against making sure minorities are treated properly. If we let them in, its our job to look after them and make sure they get on as best we can. If we dont then it just causes problems further down the line.

But no good comes from pandering to hyper-sensitives and creeping around them on egg-shells in case they take offence at something. We have a problem in that we have wrapped up our citizens in too much cotton wool over the last 2-3 decades such that people cannot cope when they find someone doesnt agree with them or like them.

The result is a group of would be tyrants that cannot cope unless everything in life is handed to them on a plate, who cannot cope unless the only narrative in society is theirs, who cry like babies if someone doesnt like them, and think that violence and aggression is the answer to getting their way.

We have created too many mentally weak citizens.

thanks for that -

those using and manipulating a Coalition of Minorities from the shadows (the cultural marxists) will not want any of the coalition to turn against each other.... the unity must hold so no criticism of Islamic attitudes towards homosexuality can be allowed to weaken the cementing of the coalition...

Douglas Murray talks (8:35) about how the '''LBGT community'''' has moved on from the L and the G and the B parts but Ts are hot and  "are great for campaigning"......

how true this is... it's like the Ts have been inserted into the whole Gay Thing - to use the Ls Gs and Bs as cover, camouflage, for political campaigning with a whole different agenda and flavour... I personally would say that all the pushing pushing of the Ts is more to do with a long term Globalist Agenda to control the general population's physical gender and reproduction rights...

and that's why JK Rowling is having such a hard time of it at the moment for speaking out and having an opinion - a similar thing happened to feminist icon Germaine Greer when she expressed opinions about the whole T thing that didn't fit in with the Globalist Authoritarian Future Agenda.... (that they are attempting to brainwash the public with).. so IMO all that is no accident - and that it isn't a craziness that has befallen the Gay Community... I would say it was a hard calculated part of the Hidden Agenda to promote the Ts and ruthlessly crush any and all scrutiny of what's really going on with all that...

Yes Indeed Bee, your first paragraph. I've never understood how or why the 'progressive' left have & continue to give Islam such an easy ride, a religion which is the very antithesis of all things 'progressive' & tolerant. They are lightening fast to 'cancel' anyone who questions whether a grown man with a beard who 'identifies' as a woman is really a woman, but they are quite happy to defend a religion that forcibly marries their children to men 30 or 40 years older than them, a religion that carries out so called 'honour killings' of their own children and a religion that would have no qualms about throwing somebody off the top of a building for the 'crime' of being gay.

But after reading Douglas Murrays book 'The Madness of Crowds' all this seems to fall into place, and your first paragraph nails it.
