7.4 Earthquake in Mexico

An earthquake originally rated as a 7.7 hit the western coast of Mexico a couple hours ago. Tsunami warnings were issued for Central America and South American coastline. No threat to California's coast. It was felt in Mexico City.

At least one fatality has been reported. The area of the tremor is largely unpopulated.

At least 4 have now been confirmed dead. Damage to Mexico City is being said to not be major. Oaxaca is also reporting no major damages. A lot had still been closed due to the Covid pandemic. They had experienced a 4.9 in the area Monday night. Aftershocks are still occurring.
