That argument is losing in the USA, a new era has begun.

The Americans have the strongest leader at the helm they have ever had and he wont let his country be hi-jacked anymore. Everyone has the right to freedom of speech. The narratives where you are racist unless you agree with us, you are corrupt if you are successful, you are immoral unless you believe in socialism, are all coming to an end.

Trump needs to pass laws to force the media and companies to be politically neutral. Cancel-culture needs making illegal. No person or organisation has the right to subvert democracy no matter how strongly they believe in their own political views. With Trump I love that that guy, he is the best US President I have seen and I wish we had a clone of him running Britain.

Once re-elected he needs to have a referendum to get the 2 term limit lifted, this guy had the potential to be US President for a long time to come. A Trump era! Followed by his addition to Mount Rushmore.

One wonders how the monument stood between 2009-2016 with no real issues. How do you account for the first and only black president going there to give a speech and mentioning nothing about the negative symbolism folks are caterwauling about now? Was he condoning slavery and/or racism?

Give over, Trump has been doing a lot for black voters.

All countries have a history, from their history they understand their story, you dont dismantle a history just because it includes people which by todays standards did bad things, or you leave a country without an understanding of what it is, where it came from, what it has learned, what it has done, and where its going in the future.

Black citizens (many of whom like Trump) understand their past and what the US has grown into. Is the US perfect? No. Has it further to go? Probably. But its the far-left out rioting attacking symbols of American identity. They hate capitalism too, and consider socialism to be morally superior with no understanding of how the US arose to be a rich and developed nation. Capitalism and freedom are morally superior. Its why in the USSR people had to queue for bread while in the west we have a much higher quality of life.

Even China has been becoming more capitalist and has been liberalising its markets over the last 20 years, hence its rise to the 2nd economic powerhouse on the planet.

So now you are even accusing Obama of being racist?

Obama was moderate left. I place him there because while most of his policies were centre-left he did of course introduce Obamacare. At a time when per capita income was $50,000 per annum meaning that most Americans could pay for private healthcare. 

A more sane approach would have been no Obamacare but making sure the unemployed or those on low income had a means tested healthcare benefit. Then medical treatment could have been wholly kept in the private sector instead of establishing a bedrock for future socialism like the NHS became.

I`m intelligent, I have a degree in business, I understand how economics works. Every time higher tax rates get levied onto businesses to fund yet more socialism it drives up the cost of products and services to consumers. What happens is businesses get squeezed out of price sensitive markets unless their manufacturing and operations base drifts to China.

So socialisms aim of reducing poverty by redistributing the wealth away from businesses is actually flawed. While it increases the income of the most poor it sucks people down into the working class too. The end result is a huge working class at the expense of having normal numbers of middle income families. Socialism doesnt work.

The cause of poverty is actually the scarcity of resources meaning the rarer a resource is, and the more in demand it is, the higher its price. That isn`t fixed by socialism. It isn`t fixed by pouring huge amounts of money into education either. Its fixed by increasing innovation in society to expand the production of resources, and innovating for alternatives where a resource is limited. Its capitalism that automatically does that because expensive resources attract businesses into markets because they know there is lots of money to be made.
