Airborne transmission cannot be ruled out

The World Health Organization (WHO) has acknowledged there is evidence that coronavirus could be spread by airborne particles. It added that transmission in crowded, closed or poorly ventilated settings can't be ruled out.If proven, it could severely impact the current measures being taken to stop the pandemic.

More than 200 scientists signed an open letter to the WHO, accusing the international body of downplaying the possibility of airborne transmission. The letter, published this week in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases, said that studies have shown “beyond any reasonable doubt that viruses are released during exhalation, talking and coughing in microdroplets small enough to remain aloft in the air.

”That means people in certain indoor conditions could be at greater risk of being infected than was previously thought.

There is still so much we don't understand about this virus. Richard Quest of CNN is still feeling the effects 3 months later!

So, it's not just about those who die.

I have always thought it was airborne. One positive thing is that The scientist learn much from this.

Yep, s**t happen !

Look a bit at other virus discovery... Hepatitis C was not discovered until 1989 but searcher implied that something was there from 1963 when they started to discover part of the protein of hepatitis b.

https://www.niddk.nih.gov/news/archive/2016/story-discovery-hepatitis-c-from-non-a-non-b-hepatitis-cure

They didn'T find and photographed the virus until 2016...

There's a long way to go and learn about Covid-19... it's not even been one year !
