It's quite simple really. One of the candidates understands the risks and one of them doesn't give a **** and continues with his self-aggrandizing ego boosts.

But it isn't all just the candidates you must also understand why certain groups of the American people have unwavering support for the President. Below is a case study that explains why Trump Supporters will risk their health to go to his rallies.

Studies have shown that people who lack expertise in some area of knowledge often have a cognitive bias that prevents them from realizing that they lack expertise. As psychologist David Dunning wrote in an op-ed for Politico, “The knowledge and intelligence that are required to be good at a task are often the same qualities needed to recognize that one is not good at that task — and if one lacks such knowledge and intelligence, one remains ignorant that one is not good at the task. This includes political judgment.” Essentially, they’re not smart enough to realize they’re dumb.

Studies like this clearly explain the behavior patterns we see here on the forum and across America.

Yeah. I read that. Good article. Dunning's well known in this field and it's interesting how he applies it in this case.

Yes it was a good article and Dunning certainly is a highly accredited Psychologist. It doesn't take much to see his concept at work with some people here on this forum. In reality there is no other rational explanation for the way some think and the comments they make when expressing their point of view. It is also very sad that some people go through their entire lives without knowing or finding the truth about the issues at hand, but I suppose ignorance can be bliss for some.:(

Take Care my friend.

Its a shame that you must make foolish statements that never really add any content. However, it is refreshing that you add insult to your injuries by proving time and time again your true level of intellect, whether you realize it or not!

This guy gets it. This election is about the working class:

“Thanks to him, middle America is on the map again and the Appalachian and hourly worker has some hope," the paper added. "Has Mr. Trump done enough for these struggling fellow citizens? No. But he recognized them. Maybe he was not articulate, but he recognized their pain."

“Although the Post-Gazette believes the president has not handled the coronavirus pandemic perfectly, the board argues he "was and is right that we must not cower before the disease and we have to keep America open and working" and warns that a Biden-Harris ticket would make the struggling economy much worse.”

“The Post-Gazette also worries Biden and Harris will put an end to fracking, be soft on China, and offer "other Cuckoo California dreams that will cost the economy and the people who most need work right now."

Here you go bats…

Whoo-hoo.  We’ve been in a Trump train today.  We heard car horns in the distance.  We were half dressed but like the Minutemen of old, we got dressed and out the door in minutes and on the road looking for a Trump train AND WE FOUND IT!  It stretched for miles.  Located an opening and pulled in.  There were all manner of Trump flags and signs (I had a NM-Zia/Gadsden flag) in the caravan and people along the route had flags and signs too.  The honking and waving made things exciting.  There were a few fingers flying by.  One sign in one car said “Hand Trump his rump”.  And of all things in a subaru (go figure) simply “F… Trump!”  People usually just return it with a smile, wave, and a honk.  Those were sad individuals filled with TDS, but that didn’t dampen the festive atmosphere.  Somewhere along the route, we had a monster truck in front of us and a Model-T behind us.  We have family and friends from Cleveland to St Petersburg to Phoenix.  And they report Trump trains all over the place (including a Trump hearse following a Biden campaign bus in Texas) and we can find them pretty much in every state.  I have never seen anything like this.  True affection and love.  It fills the heart with love and hope.  Not even the cult following of Obama comes close.  The enthusiasm is pegged off the meter.  The Patriotism is moving.  Are you sick yet bats?  This isn’t going to stop.  The last time I’ve felt the intensity of emotion like this was in a November long ago, but then it was of extreme sadness.  The Trump train is coming through and at this point, I can’t see him lose.  The only question is the margin of victory.

No, the other candidate just remains quiet for months while thousands of his supporters loot and burn cities and get just as close to each other as those at a Trump rally. Also, the "study" that claimed 700 deaths from Trump rallies was just a modeled prediction.  NOT ONE actual person was shown to have died or even become ill.  Get ready to lose Kiwi...
