Bendy Demon Posted July 18, 2020 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2020 I have a question (maybe more) on crocheting. (Yeah..I picked up crocheting) Now, I made my initial starting chain then did a single crochet to form my base before I continue with a half-double crochet and I was wondering..do I really need to make a turning chain? According to a few sites, since I am doing the half-double, I make two chains then turn my work and continue in the other direction yet others say you don't need to. I am trying to remedy the issue of crooked edges and wondered if creating turning chains (creating two or more chains before turning your work) really is needed.
