I used to catch these guy's all the time off the dock in Port Hardy. Weird looking molluscs eater. Aka Ratfish.

It�s a trigger fish, nothing more. The teeth are like that for scraping Algea or opening Molluscs or food. Same as Parrot Wrass/ fish who also have the same beak like mouths or let�s take a freshwater equivalent, the Central/ South American Pacu . This is a large food fish in its own habitat.
