Although it's not hardly reported here in the US, the issue supposedly stems from China not being willing to waive two-week quarantine for US diplomats scheduled to return to the US embassy in Wuhan.

The Global Times is reporting that the Chinese are considering closing the US embassy in Hong Kong, as the tit four our tat.  That'll get Pompeo's blood pressure up.

That would be sad.  Imagine having to go to main-land China to do embassy work.  I know I get sad thinking of the four hour drive to Chicago whenever my wife says she needs to go to the Brazilian Embassy here in the states.

i'm sure pompeo will handle his pressure just fine, thousands in HK however will have a spike as well, all those waiting for us visas. i'm sure  much much less us citizens are in need of china consulate in tx,  there are still 3 more china consulates in usa
