Eldorado Posted July 26, 2020 Author #3 Share Posted July 26, 2020 (edited) Sorry, boys. Too much reading of Fox News has made me just laugh at the English excuse for a "tornado". "Suspected rare tornado in England whirls across town" https://www.foxnews.com/world/tornado-england-northampton-funnel-cloud-property-damage At 2.6 Miles wide, this is the largest Tornado ever recorded. Touchdown was near El Reno Oklahoma on 5-31-13. Edited July 26, 2020 by Eldorado
Essan Posted July 26, 2020 #4 Share Posted July 26, 2020 A tornado is a tornado. That England is not in the midst of a large continent and thus rarely experiences supercells*, let alone large tornadoes is besides the point. * and this was not a supercelluar storm 3

I was in Kings Heath when a tornado struck in 2005, but it was probably more like 2.6 metres wide. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_Birmingham_tornado Edited July 26, 2020 by acute 1
