Rotten meat in Jordan kills boy & poisons 800

A child has died and more than 800 people have been taken to hospital after falling ill with food poisoning after eating at a restaurant outside Jordan's capital, Amman, reports say.

The restaurant had been offering cut-price shawarmas, the rotisserie meat snack, local media say.

Health officials found that the meat had not been refrigerated in what were heatwave temperatures.

Three people, including the restaurant owner, have been detained.

The five-year-old boy was one of 826 people taken to hospital after the first cases of food poisoning were detected in the Ain al-Bashra area of north-west Amman on Monday evening, health officials said.

Zionist arrogance eh. If one could make bullet out of it it would make hole in the universe if fired :D

It doesn't take rotten meal for Israel to kill Arabs. Like Irgun yesterday - Likud today has much more humane means, democracy and all that so I would rule this whole meat thing conspiracy out.

What's terrible is that those rotten meals were lower price which means that this was intentional - owner wanted to get rid of old meat or that which was bought rotten - but to still make money of it. Man I hate such money hungry idiots.

The meat was rotten and foremost not well cooked.... enough temperature would kill the germ at least. This story is somewhat disgusting when you eat meat just after reading it.
