Just came in from a quick walk. It's dropping to a bitter -30 C with the windchill tonight.

She’s just like Sadie only with black hair and gray due to age...

They look so chilled and content, shiny coats, wet noses, bright eyes, all's well with them. Lovely. :tu:

Dogs and Cats that grow up together turn out to be great friends.

The wife and I were walking once and found a smokey gray kitten up a tree.  We gave him to her brother.  A couple of years later, he got a German Shepherd pup and the adult "Smokey" took him in paw and taught him the pecking order ;)  It was the funniest thing to see that pup grown to a 100+ lb dog and Smokey and he were such good buds that Smokey would put his whole head in King's mouth and still look patiently bored :w00t:

That really a great story man, and it doesn't surprise me a bit. When I was young we had a kitten and puppy that grew up together, and like you said they were the best of friends, hell they even snuggled up and slept together.

Peace

Thank you Jujo-jo! She is a sweetheart, but very independent. I adopted her from a shelter back in 2011, they told me that she was a lone kitten scared to death in a thunderstorm! She is still very scared during thunderstorms and will hide under the bed, her safe zone.

These days I don't have a pet of my own, although I do get followed by a lot of cats.
This one started following me a few months back. Her brother often tags along.

I agree. I think the poor babies need the warmth of a forever home.

Spider Kitty...

In a "pea tree".

That's some good outdoor carving wood. It doesn't rot. I've seen fence posts made from that stuff in Japan that are a few centuries old.
