Arcana Posted August 23, 2020 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2020 Dripping quill on parchment writing Candles flicker silhouettes Embers glow in minds inviting Memories faded, past regrets A dark embrace wherein to hide Dimly ripples through the night In pools starved of ebbing moontide Fleeting shadows stray from sight Peaceful silence sways decision The ink bleeds its subtle spell Cast wherever thoughts envision Cascading whispers heard foretell Passing time the hourglass reckons Floods the parchment seas of words Inspiration points and beckons Minds soar like mocking birds To what end is faintly wondered At rest when all is said and done Words attest as they are thundered Upon the listening ear where spun Remembrance captured to behold His poems glisten forever seen The bard has spoken tales now told In rhyming dreams deeply serene 2 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
