Still Waters 50,894 #1 Posted August 31, 2020 Jeremy Corbyn has been voted the best prime minister Britain never had. The former Labour leader, who led the party to its worst general election defeat since the 1930s back in December, triumphed in a Twitter poll by Times Radio. Mr Corbyn, MP for Islington North, came out on top ahead of former Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy in the final vote, with 57.7%. Presenter Matt Chorley's "World Cup of Best PMs We Never Had" saw some 12,300 votes cast. https://news.sky.com/story/jeremy-corbyn-former-labour-leader-voted-best-prime-minister-britain-never-had-12060443 1 2

seanjo 6,567 #4 Posted August 31, 2020 That's hilarious, he led Labour to it's greatest defeat since the 30's, losing constituencies that had never voted Tory for decades and they think he would be a good PM...laughable... 4
RAyMO 5,482 #5 Posted August 31, 2020 A meaningless poll - like Arthur being voted best 'never' king.
L.A.T.1961 1,818 #6 Posted August 31, 2020 I would probably go for John Smith but the vote does damn with faint praise. The best of the losers is not a great accolade especially in politics where winning is everything.
spartan max2 17,342 #7 Posted August 31, 2020 (edited) Idk the stats in the U.K. but I saw a stat once showing how only about 20-30 percent of the population in the U.S even had a Twitter account. Which makes it almost dystopian how media will focus so much on what's Twitter does. Edit: here we go. 22 percent of U.S adults https://www.omnicoreagency.com/twitter-statistics/ Edited August 31, 2020 by spartan max2

YouGov rated Corbyn from its polls as the worst PM there has never been. I agree with that one lol. Edited August 31, 2020 by Cookie Monster
