UK Foreign Aid & BBC

What a good few days it has been.

Firstly 65% of the UK population polled have said privatise the BBC. I cannot believe that Commie propaganda outlet has been allowed to go unchallenged for so long. Let it win viewers like the other channels have too so it is forced to reflect the views of watchers. But even better the Conservative Government is planning to scrap our £14 billion foreign aid budget in the next budget:

Our foreign aid budget is currently laid down in law and is part of our UN responsibilities. I say scrap it. I hope the Chancellor does it with his `big move` that is planned in the coming budget. Create a few 100,000s of jobs using it to get the economy moving following coronavirus and once we are back to normality I say lets beat the US to Mars!!

Oh and another 2 aircraft carriers please. The last time we had a mere 2 the things had only just been invented.

£14billion, a complete joke, foreign aid should be held in reserve and used for vaccination programmes and disaster relief. as such it should be adjusted to around 5bn a year. any money not spent during the financial year should be spent here in the UK. Currently we have this ridiculous situation whereby every single penny of the £14Bn has to be spent. last year there was 4 billion left at the end of the year so, they had to by law spend it, and the person responsible got a £10k bonus for doing so.

I`m against paying tribute to third world countries.

Its a one-way relationship with nothing in return. The only time we should give money is if its a two-way relationship giving us something back we need of similar value. For example as an island nation we need to import various resources. So money for those resources.

Of course if a tsunami happens, a volcano erupts, or a virus going pandemic, those are acceptable situations to me to give charity.

You mean like where we've had billions of pounds worth of natural resources from other countries without paying for them? So now we should pay off that debt?

Never thought I'd hear you backing reparations for the empire. Should we pay interest too?

The BBC only have themselves to blame.

They have been going downhill for the last 60 years. While of course we dont want immigrants and minorities mistreated, or our European neighbours to end up causing another world war, that organisation is more interested in all of them rather than the British People.

It is heavily politicised, does the bare minimum legal possible in presenting fair balanced debates, and has an obvious liberal-socialist bias. Its like reading/watching CNN, the New York Post, or the Guardian. The BBC has any everybody else first policy.

It is hardly Fox News.
