It could be a harmless prank or it could be preview of a future criminal act against an airplane.  Government agents are checking this out since this was very illegal.

If indeed these airline pilots saw a person flying with a Jetpack especially near the wing, you would think even the passengers would of witnessed it or even cased a commotion to take notice. Either 1. They are making it up to get a few minutes of recognition or 2. They misidentified whatever object it could of been.
