You know we go through this every year.

 We have fires, people say we should do burns/rake the forest (even the president), we blame liberals, people point out that California is 47% federal land, the Feds don't burn/rake because it is too expensive and dumb, and then we rinse and repeat.

Explaining it for the first few years is okay, but it's the same people year after year.  I kinda don't want to say anything because I am starting to get embarrassed for them.  At least this year we have the new twist of "It's terrorists from the opposing party" being spread by the various dividers in our country.

It's mostly the poor who suffer through blackouts.  The rich can afford solar power and house battery solutions like the one Tesla makes.
