With QM that deals with quantities that cannot be divided any further. With GR it has irrational numbers and therefore irrational relationships between its variables. So at the microscopic level the answer for the gravitational attraction between two atoms is widely different from both sets of equations. That difference is much smaller at our scale or the scale of the solar system but is still there. The idea of the universe being a neural net comes from enhanced NASA images of supposed dark matter existing between galaxies. There is no evidence to support it being a neural net, and currently no actual evidence of dark matter. Its a theory to explain gravitational anomalies on the galactic scale. Its more likely that our gravitational equations are wrong or something about gravity isn`t yet understood. But the GR fanboys want the GR equations to be correct so they seek an alternative explanation. That's incorrect. String theory is the lovechild of GR and QM. It's just very hard to test, because we can't build a collider that's big enough. We can, however, test Quantum field theory, which is the lovechild of SR and QM, and it has passed all the tests we have thrown at it.

The obvious flaw is there is no known communication between galaxies that could amount to a form of consciousness. All this is based on saying what an abstract bit of artwork looks like. Supposed dark matter maps of the universe. I might add, dark matter that isn`t even confirmed to exist.
