Ghost following me

When I was 13 I went into a very well known haunted house with a tour group. There was known child activity so I had taken a light up toy to interact with the spirits. It didn't take long before I was interacting with a child spirit. I told my mother before I left that I felt sorry for the child spirit and I wished I could take them out of the house because I didn't like them being stuck there.

So was the child the only ghost at the house?  If so I guess its no longer haunted.  I would be interested to know the name of the house.

All we have to go on is a long story, we dont have names, sources, provenance , no evidence,  i do not go on blind faith belief so its just a story, nothing more. :tu:

The house i was refuring to is the Villisca Axe Murder House. I believe the girl that is following me is Ina Stillinger. She had been one of the children that had been murdered in the home along with her sister and the family that owned the house.  The house has been said to be haunted by the murder victims along with the murderer, even though the murderer has never been found.

I have attempted to ask her questions about who she is. But all I get in response is a knock that her name is Ina. She seems to get a bit angry if I ask about the villisca axe murder house.

The house has been investigating by multiple ghost investigation groups, but I never reached out when they are there. The only thing some one pointed out to me was an evp from Ghost Adventures. They are asking about the children and some one thought the evp says "Ina isn't here."

The investigators believe it says something else. I hear what the investigators hear, but multiple people have said they hear Ina isn't here.

I can't say if Ina was mad at me that night. But she has been more active. And when she is I simply acknowledge her and she stops.

I expect it opens up old wounds. Especially if she was murdered with an axe.

Hum, seems if this was legit the victim could let countyolive know who the killer was and hauntings and channeling and ghosts would be very close to proven.

I prefer to think that these things are in the eye/mind of the beholder.

We are so near yet so far! Revealing knowledge like that would be pretty compelling.

Very interesting. Having gone through my own paranormal experiences, I am of the opinion that anything is possible, and that just because there aren't a lot of names and dates and facts in a story, doesn't mean it can't be true. I feel like when we're going through these strange experiences, such details may slip our minds at the time, as we're just trying to figure out what's going on. Same with the question that people will ask experiencers of UFOs or anything paranormal in general; "Why didn't you take a picture?" Well, depending on the person, it could be that they were so afraid, or surprised, or amazed, or any number of things, that their camera / phone was the last thing on their mind.
I'm not saying facts aren't useful. I just feel like when someone is having an experience, that is what they are focused on - the experience. Not proving it afterward.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi there,

I'm interested to know if Ina is still following you and what happened? It sounds like the little girl attached to you as you maybe made her feel safe and seen.

Often they just want to be acknowledged/cleared. When people die of trauma, they do not know they are dead and they cant cross over clearly. You could get some sage, say a prayer, tell her she need to cross over and go into the light.

Poor wee girl will be lost and lonely.

If ghosts attach to you, clear them on.

So here is an update, yes Ina is still following me. After I reread the original post a few new things have come to light. It was not Ina who I had seen hiding from me, but something malicious that had taken her form. I was fighting with depression pretty bad that month, and I believe something negative had attached itself to me.

One reason I know that it wasn't Ina, is because she showed herself at the restaurant I worked at the next day. She was turning on water, messing with the lights, and swinging the door to the electrical box back and forth. (The door is very rusted and does not move with out assistance) I knew then that this was Ina, and whatever was at my house was not.

A friend of mine came over and cleansed the house. I haven't had a negative experience since.

As for Ina, she still likes to stay at my jobs. I now work in the same place I had first seen her. She seems to enjoy being back here. We hear her singing with residents from time to time. She still enjoys playing with water and her new favorite game is how many times can she set of the multiple paper towel machines before she is asked to stop. She also has figured out how to work Alexa. Her favorite song? I'm a little tea pot.

When she comes home with me. (I know because she'll show herself in my back seat. Or my son will great her.) She enjoys messing with my three cats. I have seen them act like they are rubbing against someone in the middle of a room. I just say hi to Ina.

She has basically become a normal part of our lives. My son (now 8) talks to her when she comes home. They are now the same age, so she comes home a lot more than she used to.

I have me mentioned helping her move on, she got a bit angry about that and threw a notebook at me. My son says she'll stay till we don't need her anymore.

She also likes to spend time at my parents house with their spirit Ethal. Both my dad and my son have mentioned seeing them sitting together with Ethal playing with Ina's hair.

I used to think earth bound spirits should be sent over but there are greater powers than us that control or decide when this is right I feel. It is hard knowing if the innocent spirit really is what it makes out to be though, it is often not what it seems.

I guess if it's not harming anyone, and is genuinely friendly, and happy, trying to forcing them out may cause more problems than it's worth. But if things start to get nasty, then out you go.

Perhaps his spirit is a guide, or guardian spirit?

That's what I think Hank, I didn't like the sound of this throwing something at them, like it has some sort of power over them. I keep changing my opinion about this stuff the more I learn, it's like a journey that never ends, lol.
