UM-Bot Posted September 20, 2020 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2020 Denis Vashurin is something of an online celebrity in Russia thanks to his bafflingly youthful appearance. https://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/news/339645/32-year-old-man-looks-like-a-14-year-old-boy

openozy Posted September 20, 2020 #3 Share Posted September 20, 2020 I'm 57 and people think I'm in my early thirties but when I was 14 I looked around 30,so I've only aged about three years in 43 years, lol.
Seti42 Posted September 20, 2020 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2020 Dating must be rough...Although it says he has a girlfriend. I hope his g/f is around his age and not like 15, though. Getting a job probably isn't so bad, if you have the education and experience on your resume/CV you're fine, assuming Russia has similar anti disability/medical condition discrimination laws like the US has.

Same here. I`m 42 now and have some greys, but not a single wrinkle. Dyed hair to hide them then I look in my 20s. The only think I have been doing different is my coffee. I might get told off for this but since about 18 I been having black coffees with x5 spoons in.

I have this same issue. I actually get discriminated against more than you would think because of my voice, when i talk softly i can sound like a small child so i am often told i am not old enough and rejected from businesses, asked for my parents and told I dont have money, even when walking in with the full cash sum. I smoke weed and am so tired of not being able to buy blunt wraps without an ID, and even when having one additional people are often called to verify its authenticity. This weekend my son stayed the night with his dad for the first time and I tried to go to the casino and they still didnt believe i was old enough to be there. People often ask my 9 year old son if I am his sister. I get hit on by teenagers a lot. This is all funny to me because I dont even think I look as young as this guy. I'll be 35 this month. I agree with the analysis that he will live a bit longer. I noticed that I too was just a super late bloomer and late maturing. I have always thought the same thing as cookie monster, that it it's just somewhat of a slower aging process that hopefully means a long life span. Do you guys also have better than average health and physical ability too? I think its all related.

Skulduggery Posted October 26, 2020 #14 Share Posted October 26, 2020 (edited) I read the comments above me and it sounds like everyone is comparing how young they look for their age. When in Rome. I'm 40. I have no grey hairs. I have no wrinkles. True story. Now that that's out of the way, I remember an episode of a TV show (maybe House?) that featured someone with a condition like this. Obviously, an actor portraying someone who doesn't appear to age. Edited October 26, 2020 by Skulduggery

I tend to agree with you on this. Somewhat. I've almost died twice. I've gone through everything from homelessness to being carjacked to traveling across the country to work and drinking heavily (not any more) but people never believe me when I tell them my age. I think it is all about face shape honestly, and genetics. I do smoke weed, though, so there's that. I 100% agree about it relieving stress and that is its main function for me.

Denis must have been bottle fed edibles, lol.Yeah, genetics plays a big part though imo.I know people that have smoked weed for 50 years and they still think like teens,it's like it freezes time in some aspects. jethrofloyd Posted October 26, 2020 #17 Share Posted October 26, 2020 Could a poo transplant one day be the secret of eternal youth? https://medicalxpress.com/news/2020-10-poo-transplant-day-secret-eternal.html Fecal transplants could one day be used as a therapy to restore cognitive function in the elderly—according to new research from the University of East Anglia, the University of Florence and the Quadram Institute. A new study published today shows how fecal transplants from older to younger mice altered their gut microbiome, which in turn impacted their spatial learning and memory. Hi Openozy If smoking pot affects them like that I think the numbers are quite low most are lazy thinkers that were never inspired to do/be something more but yes genetics may be an influence. Now that it's legal I grow my own. jmccr8
openozy Posted October 27, 2020 #19 Share Posted October 27, 2020 I was led to believe it only became illegal because of cotton growers being outdone by a much more environmentally friendly crop.I hope the world follows in your footsteps on this.It does take people's motivation away if they overdo it but is far superior to alcohol and it's devastating affects. Hi Ooenozy Nope anyone can grow three plants here and my neighbors all know I smoke especially when we had shut down and they would walk around the block to get out of the house and I don't smoke in the house.Got to meet a lot of neighbors from a distance and all is good. jmccr8
