Or you are...TDS is treatable....but you have to want to get better....

You went to that old tired lame rejoiner? Too funny, you forgot to yell "hater" and cry Obama's fault.

It's all everyone's fault but the sitting President's.

That’s SOP though. Been that way for years.

Hmmm... are the two candidates told the questions in advance ?

The reason I ask is that Joe Biden has NOT had experience of being asked unscripted questions recently, whereas President Trump has it every few days (at his press conferences).

I get the impression that Trump is on his feet, whereas Joe may be.. well.. a little rusty ?

Meh, there's not a great track record of answering questions from either.  It's just shaping up as two old blokes sledging each other.

So joe doesnt want a ear/sound check, his gamble that he will loose monitor and look like a jackass.

No....they would be checking to make sure neither candidate has a device in their ear with a person on the other end helping them to answer debate questions.

Why can't it be Trump wearing the hearing aid?  There's only 3½ years age difference, you know.

Have you never seen Trump asking for a question to be repeated?  He does it very often.

Because Trump agreed to the check and Biden backed out at the last minute. I was speculating on a possible reason Biden changed his mind.

I think there is more pressure on Biden tonight than Trump....

Maybe... but the truth is that if the old git manages not to drool on his jacket, he'll be praised by the OMB crowd.  I thought the most entertaining aspect of the debate was the stress he induced on Chris Wallace :w00t:

It was Chewbacca vs The Swedish Chef.  I'll take Chewie any day.

Biden did come across competent, but there was something different about him that I can't place.  Trump showed his forceful personality, which I like.  Trump got to Biden a little bit when he talked about Hunter.

Two places that I think Biden lost it was the "I am the Democratic Party" comment.  That's what his handlers are telling him.  And when he said that Trump doesn't know how to create jobs.  Come on man!

But I don't think either moved the bar.

The difference I saw during the debate was that the President avoided most questions he was asked by the moderator. In my opinion the debate was a train wreck, even the Fox News Moderator was tired of President Trump by the time the debate ended. After the way things went today, I doubt there will be another one and that is a shame. :P

Biden backpedaled on some of the things he was running on while pandering to the extreme left or refused to commit at all. I'm not a big fan of wishy washy not answering a direct question. I think Biden said a lot of untruthful things trying to win over Sander's supporters before he was nominated.

Not sure how people can support a guy who can’t denounce white extremist groups, and uses coded rhetoric like “law and order”.

Like I keep saying, at this point trump supporters are either malicious or stupid.

It was Biden that avoided questions.  Trump was chomping at the bit to answer but there was just too much to convey.  Biden did do a smart thing by throwing up one lie after another.  It didn’t matter if any of it was true or not.  That’s all Biden has.  I could care less if Wallace was annoyed.  If he didn’t want to be annoyed then get into a different line of work.

Here's post debate analysis by Bill O'Reily if anyone is interested (starts after 20- 30 minutes).

He said sure he would, but he wanted specifics. Then immediately it got into a jibber jabber match with Wallace & Biden.

Biden would not tell Antifa/rioters to simmer down.
